2- Compare traditional teaching and online eduaction.

 a) Compare the top ten traits of traditional teaching and online education.

We know that traditional teaching has its advantages for children, but it also has some drawbacks that it is necessary to stick out. First, we have the schedule stiffness. There is no flexibility to create a personal calendar in order to combine studies and personal or work file. Conversely, in online education we have the flexibility. We know that distance education allows access to classes whenever and wherever we want. The schedule is flexible so we can create a personal study plan with their needs in mind. There is no need to give up anything because of a lack of time. Another disadvantage we can find is the high cost not only of money but also of time. Commuting demands an economic expense, and if the classroom is far, we will have to decide whenever the trip is worth it or not. On the other hand, we have the commodity in online classes. There is no need to cummute in vain. We can create a cozy place in our homes to concentrate. it would be in our hands to recreate the appropiate atmosphere to study in peace and quiet. In traditional teaching we have the socialibility and solidarity trait that allows the students to feel less lonely. This trait is pretty related with the ability to work in groups. The ability to work in groups is really useful because the students can learn from each other and share some doubts and concerns. Besides, these kind of social interaction can help to come up with new ideas and stimulate creativity.

Traditional teaching gives a stable and solid plan to students. Some students who lack self-discipline value a study plan that offers stability and is easy to follow. Traditional education forces the student to attend the lessons and to study when it is required. This is a clear disadvantage with an online teaching method because it is required a need for compromise, motivation, and self-discipline. It is commonly known that there are students that without a predetermined structure have a hard time finding time to study. Self-discipline can be taught whether at home or at the school, but some students already possess it naturally that is why it does not really matter if they are learning through a traditional teaching or an online method. Another drawback that a traditional method brings to us is less and more expensive didactic material available. Sometimes pictures, videos or forums are not accesible all the time. This trait might limit the learning and hinder a good study plan.

b) Describe the salient traits between NESTs and non- NESTs. Provide reasoning and reflection upon your choice.

There is a difference between a native English speaker and non-native English speaker. The NESTs are the ones whose mother tongue is from an English country, and the non-NESTs speak the English language as a second language. English has become a world language because most of the people in the world speak the language. It is commonly known that the ones whom mother tongue is English have more advantages than the other ones who speak it as a foreign language because if these two go to apply for a job in a school, it is more likely that the NESTs get the job because the school principal would think that the NESTs won´t commite any mistake due to his mother language is English, but there are some perks for the non-NESTs, too. They can work in an EFL environment where students speak the same L1 as them. Besides, a non-NESTs have more advantages like understanding better the students, and they also can apply grammar rules perfectly, have better results from their students, correct the language. Let´s not forget that both native and non-native speakers have to deal with issues as any teacher no matter if they think they are the best teachers because the problems will always appear. The distinction is clear for the ones whose mother tongue is English are NESTs, and the other ones whose English is their ESL or EFL are non-NESTs.
